BEFORE TAKING AN ADULT SHELTIE INTO YOUR HOME
Just A
Dog
Membership
to the
ASSA is
given
only to
those
breeders
who meet
specific
requirements
specified
by the
ASSA.
Applicants
must
have
owned
and
exhibited
a
Shetland
Sheepdog
in AKC
licensed
shows in
conformation
and/or
performance
events
in the
US for a
minimum
of
(5) years.
The
applicant
must
obtained
at least
(1) AKC Championship
title.
Applicants
must
also
have the
written
endorsement
of
(2) ASSA
members
in good
standing
with
the ASSA
An AKC
Breeder
of Merit
award is
given
only to
those
breeders
who meet
specific
requirements
specified
by AKC. We are
honored
to have
met
those
requirements
and to
be
awarded
this
prestigious
award
